India game with Ireland became a big match. The small team after getting a victory against England got more expectations over the India match. The Indian team planned to rest some of the players in the team and Kevin O’Brien became the key man for the Ireland team. India as planned earlier after winning the toss decided to bat first and restricted the Ireland to 207 runs. Zaheer khan stuck well early in the innings with 2 wickets and later Yuvraj bowled extraordinarily well took 5 wickets. Porterfield, the skipper of the Ireland team has made 75 runs and Naill O’Brien with 47 runs. Piyush was very expensive and Harbajan too didn’t get any wickets. When India came to bat they lost Sehwag and Gambir earlier in the innings and Kohli took partnership with Sachin. Sachin was out at 38, later Yuvraj came and played till the end. Kohli and Dhoni made 34. When Yusuf came to bat, he smashed the ball over the boundary. He hit 3 sixes and 2 fours and made 30 and Yuvraj made 50 runs. At the end India made a 5 wicket victory over the Ireland in 46 overs. Yuvraj was awarded Man of the Match for his 5 wickets and 50 runs.
