Gulliver

Lemuel Gulliver is the first person and narrator of the novel Gulliver’s Travels. According to the novel written by Jonathan Swift, Gulliver was born is Nottinghamshire on 1661. He studied for 3 years at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and four years at University of Leiden. He educated himself in basic mathematics and navigation. His adventures during the travel encountered in this novel are remarkable. He married in the year in 1668 with Miss Mary Burton.

Gulliver’s Travel begin in the year 1696 and ended in the end of 1715. But the end of his travel Gulliver completely changed his personality. He met with different kinds of human beings. He went to different places in the ships and met different people with different look. His experience was different which is shown in the novel by the author in the novel. This novel is very much loved by the children, in which they can imagine the people with the different personalities which the author has mentioned in the novel. The original name of the book is The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier. Later several authors have extracted from the original copy of the book and released Gulliver’s Travels in revised edition.
