This happened the second time for the Indonesia. After a tsunami hit in the south pacific in the Samoa, the massive earthquake causes the destruction of Indonesia. More than 700 houses were badly damaged by the magnitude of 7.0 on Richter scale said by an official. Its epicenter was offshore, 115 km south-west of Tasikmalaya. Everybody felt that the tsunami stuck again and an alert was also issued but later revoked shortly. The quake hits Jakarta, Bandung, and Tasikmalaya badly. The quake causes the destruction of buildings with a huge loss of lives filled with blood in the buildings. Some of the wooden buildings were shakes and the people came out from the buildings and workplaces. Communications with the coastal areas were completely cut. No exact information has been taken because of this and this is an assumption of counting the lives and damage occurred. The rescue team is clearing the rubble to find the survivors. The count is increasing for every hour as they are clearing and searching for the survivors. Chinese president Hu Jintao sent a message of condolences to his Indonesia counterpart Susilo Bambang over the heavy causalities and property losses caused by the strong earthquake. The president expressed the belief that, Indonesian people would be able overcome the difficulties caused by the quake and rebuild their homeland under their leadership.
