The Unique Quality of the Indian Architecture is its Spiritual Content. Much of it was done not for personal glory or just comfort but it was an effort of dedication and love. Iconography has been a part of Indian architecture since time immemorial. When a sculptor had to sculpt an image or depict a message, he could see the sculptor in the rock he close to work after a complete understanding of the material and the abstract thoughts in his mind.
